About me:

I am Luis David, a sound practitioner and violinist based in Philadelphia.

I’ve played the violin since the fourth grade, and music has been part of my life ever since. I’ve always been fascinated by the stories music can tell and the range of emotions a single song can bring out in us. Over time, that love grew into a deeper appreciation for sound itself. From the quietest vibrations found in nature to the energy of a live concert, and how deeply it can affect the way we feel, connect, and experience a moment.

I trained as a violinist and played for years before I ever touched a singing bowl. The two turned out to have more in common than I expected. Both are about listening carefully and letting a room fill with sound at its own pace. Each telling their own story in the moment.

The instruments

A seven piece chakra crystal bowl set, a copper Tibetan bowl, handpan, tuning forks, chimes, and a violin. Different sessions call for different combinations, and I choose them based on what you are looking for.
